It's very nice, you've definately created an atmosphere, I think the middles need to be a bit blacker, but that's just my opinion, and how I think a poppy should look.

Watercolors are my very favorite. Never had the nerve to try, whenever I mention taking lessons, there is always someone around (who IS an artist of some degree) that says watercolors are the hardest, to start with oil painting lessons. Problem: I LIKE watercolor!!!
You go for it Nan. I bet you will love it. You don't even have to show anyone, you do it for yourself.
