My phone is broken. It will dial out but doesn't ring. I saw one on Freecycle, a wonderful 70's cream coloured phone, with dial. Retro chic (as I like to think of it). Telling youngest daughter about it, she pipes up 'oh, you mean its got a dial like in the olden days'.
I am crushed.

I have a friend who lives in California we e-mail each other she wrote to me on time
Oh! Colin this age thing is no fun is it?
now I know what she was talking about
I used to have a green lookielike push button phone which looked like a ringring version, I love the old jingle jangle of a ringring, and have got the ringtone o my mobile!
Hello Jo!
Yes, I love the jingle jangle too, takes me right back. Fairlands 1296 was our number then!
Another wonderful thing is that I won't have the ability to push button this that or the other and should, in theory, get to speak to real humans...

Hey Saturday, they just don't make'em like they used to. The one thing that holds true is the advertising slogan 'It's the next best thing to being there.
I enjoyed your post on language, You are so beautiful!
Bye for now, SPH
Hi Scott P H (does this mean you are acidic, alkaline or neutral - somehow don't believe its the latter)
Thank you for the compliment. The comma in that sentence would imply that you found my thoughts beautiful. So I am very happy with that.
Hope you enjoyed the film with your son. I am not familiar with the Marvel people, I always get Famous Four or whatever confused with Enid Blyton. One has Timmy and one doesn't........
Beaming a smile from here to Arkansas.
